Convert a 1992 Ford Ranger, into an Electric Vehicle

I had been looking for a couple months, for a small pickup to use for the conversion.

The Make, Model, and year, were not as important as the price.

I found the perfect vehicle, for the perfect price $100.

Plus $80 to tow the vehicle to my yard

With the help of my friend’s grandson, the motor, exhaust system, radiator,

and gas tank have been removed. Only took a couple weeks, the cost was

$400 plus two cartons of cigarettes. The next item in the process is a DC Motor.

I have been looking on ebay, and made the rounds of junk yards in my area,

NO LUCK YET!

The Controller, Batteries, and Battery Charger will be determined by the HP and

Weight, of the motor I find. With a limited budget, I have to settle for one I can afford.

Bought a replacement headliner $11 from the salvage yard, installed it myself.
